Kazuri Bead Trunk Show

The Kazuri bead trunk show is this Saturday, November 21^st during the hours from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Roseville Bead Shoppe. Kazuri beads are hand painted ceramic beads crafted by disadvantaged African women. By purchasing these beads you are helping them to earn their independence. Our vendor will be here to showcase these beautiful and exciting items. Hope to see you at the show.

Our biannual sterling silver and gold vermeil trunk show starts tomorrow. The selection includes: many, many exciting and new clasps, beads, pendants, fancy headpins, earring findings, etc. The holidays are upon us, so take advantage of the sale and make your jewelry and gifts truly one-of-a-kind!

Trunk show dates: Nov. 4^th—7^th at Roseville and Nov. 8^th at Folsom.

What is a trunk show? We borrow inventory from our vendor for a short period of time and this allows us to showcase a much larger selection. Since we don’t have to purchase and stock this large amount of merchandise you save an average of 30%.

Introduction to Beginning Jewelry

As they say, “If you want something done right, do it yourself!” In this class you will learn the basics of tools, findings (clasps, etc.), materials, design and the techniques to make bracelets, necklaces and earrings. You’ll complete a bracelet and a pair of earrings to take home with you. This class is great for first-timers just getting started. Fee $20. (Supplies Extra.)

Introduction to Wire Work

Learn to construct great looking necklaces, bracelets, pendants and earrings using your favorite beads and wire. You will learn to make strong links with coil-wrapped loops. This basic technique is essential to modern jewelry making. Fee $20. (Supplies Extra.)

Bead Knotting

Learn to use silk cording to knot between each bead or pearl and to use bead tip ends to finish. Complete a pretty “floating bead” necklace or you may string a conventional strand of pearls. Fee: $20. (Supplies Extra.)

Introduction To Bead Weaving: Peyote Wave Bracelet

Learn how to use various seed beads, a needle and thread to weave intricate beadwork. We will start a peyote stitch “wave” bracelet which may not be completed in class.
